Access to Healthcare
Access to Healthcare – Coloplast’s Partnership Program was originally launched in September 2007 to mark Coloplast’s 50th anniversary. The Access to Healthcare program seeks to create partnerships in selected developing countries to help individuals with intimate healthcare needs live life with dignity.
Access to Healthcare brings resources and knowledge that local partners may lack. Its projects aim to bring together practitioners, end users, NGOs, and other public and private partners to:
- Train practitioners and raise standards of care
- Organize end users and provide them a voice
- Advocate for better care and reimbursement with healthcare policy decision makers.

Access to Healthcare is the principle funding organization for the elearning project. Its support encouraged ISCoS to take up the initiative of elearnSCI.org. It was the only source of funding when the project was conceptualized, approved and initiated.
